Mike Bloomberg will provide advocacy information on the Federal stimulus package to include libraries in the stimulus construction language. Mike will include information on state contacts required to insure stimulus money can be used for libraries.
Mark will provide information on connecting all MLA members to the legislative email list
The March 4 Legislative Meeting will use GoToMeeting (see gotomeeting.com). More detail will follow on how to connect to this meeting.
Mark and Elaine will follow up with legislators on the Library for the Blind funding/staffing issue.
