The following items were reviewed and acted upon during the legislative committee meeting on 1/9/2009.
- Telecommunications funding request will be revised per Telecomm Coordinators Group.
- RLBSS funding request will be revised per CRPLSA.
- Multitype funding request will be revised per Multitype Directors.
- MnLINK funding request will include costs of software only.
- Structure Study plank has been removed from the platform.
- Language on policy planks will be added to insure differentiation between MLA/MEMO’s legislative policy and funding requests and those policy and funding requests that MLA/MEMO would support if brought forward from other groups.
- The MLA Award given to Mary Murphy at the MLA Awards Banquet will be presented at Legislative Day.
- Mark will convene a group to discuss action on the Library for the Blind platform plank.
