WJMN Learning Center

The WJMN Learning Center has self-paced online courses that have been paid for by WebJunction Minnesota (State Library Services, Metronet & Minitex). Minnesota library staff who are registered users of WebJunction Minnesota may take the courses listed in the catalog below at no cost. You must be logged in to see the WJMN course offerings. If you are not logged in, you will see all WJ offerings, including the prices for each course.

Keep in mind that although these courses are truly free to registered users of WJMN, when you enroll for a course, the number of credits for that course is applied towards the block of credits paid for by WebJunction Minnesota.

With that in mind, we encourage you to take advantage of this free continuing education, but follow these simple guidelines:   

  • Sign up for no more than 1-2 courses at any one time.
  • Complete all courses before registering for additional courses.
  • Try to complete courses in a timely fashion. You will receive a reminder after 30 days if you have not accessed any course you enroll in.
  • Read all course descriptions and expectations prior to clicking on the "Add to cart.” (You must be registered with WJMN and signed in to enroll.)

Take time to browse the catalog--there are courses for all library staff. We're sure you can find something that will help you in your job!

Hints & Tips

If you are affiliated with Minnesota, courses should appear as $0 when you are logged in. You will still need to go through the "Add to Cart" and enrollment process. You will not be required to enter credit card information. The fields will be there, but they will be grayed out and not accessible.

  • In order to complete the checkout process, you must be logged in with the Remember Me box checked.
  • When you click Proceed to Checkout you will be redirected to the Shopping Cart to complete the checkout process.
  • You must enter an address before you can check out. Click Add New Address to proceed with the enrollment process.
  • After entering your address, click Save and then click Complete Order.
